Short version. This website does not collect anything about you. No analytics, no cookies, no tracking, no forms. If you buy the workbook, Gumroad handles the transaction and the data that comes with it. If you email, I keep the email so I can reply.

What this website collects

Nothing. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel, no cookie banner, because there are no cookies to consent to. The page is a static document. Your web host or mine may keep ordinary server logs, which is normal for any website on the internet.

Update this section if that changes. The moment you add analytics, an email signup, a chat widget or an ad pixel, this paragraph stops being true and has to be rewritten — and in most jurisdictions you will also need a cookie notice. This is the section to revisit first.

What happens when you buy

Checkout happens on Gumroad, not here. Gumroad is the merchant of record: they take your name, email address, payment details and country, and they process the payment and the sales tax. Your card details go to Gumroad and their payment processors and are never seen by, or stored by, Penciled In Finance.

What I can see as the seller, through the Gumroad dashboard, is your name, your email address, your country, what you bought and when. I use that to deliver the file, answer questions and issue refunds. Nothing else.

Gumroad's own privacy policy governs what they do with your data.

If you email me

Emails to hello@penciledinfinance.com or support@penciledinfinance.com are kept so that I can reply and, if needed, refer back to the conversation. They are not added to any mailing list and are not shared.

If you send a topic suggestion, I may use the idea in a future edition or a future book. I will not publish your name or your email address.

What is never done

Your data is never sold, rented, or traded. There is no advertising network involved in this site.

Your rights

You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email support@penciledinfinance.com and it will be handled. For purchase data held by Gumroad, requests can go to them directly, and I will help if it is easier to go through me.

Deleting purchase records can affect your ability to re-download the workbook or claim a refund, so that is worth weighing before asking.

Children

This site and this product are not directed at children under 16 and no data is knowingly collected from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
